Afghanistan: Aino Mina Project Was Built Legally: Karzai

A day after a presidential decree on assessment of Aino Mina Township in Kandahar was leaked to media, founder of the township, Mahmoud Karzai, said the project has been build based on legal processes. According to the decree, the Attorney General’s Office has been assigned to assess the township in collaboration with the National Directorate of Security, Ministry of Urban Development, the Independent Directorate of Local Governance and Afghanistan Independent Land Authority to review if the township has completed its legal and technical processes.
