A group of young volunteers in southeastern Khost province are working to restore forests by scattering wild tree seeds across mountains, deserts and barren lands. They say their initiative aims to raise public awareness and protect the country from harmful effects of climate change. One of the volunteers, Naqibullah Zaland, has been actively planting various wild tree seeds in the region’s mountains and deserts.
