Liberia: New US$4M Slaughter House Revamps Meat Value Chain

The proprietors of the newly established Careysburg Slaughter House envision a revamped meat industry marked by the highest safety quality standards and an enhanced value chain both upstream and downstream. The high standard set for the establishment of the US$4 million Careysburg Slaughter House shows Liberia’s commitment to work within its accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), says Agriculture Minister, Dr. Moses Zinnah.
