Nigeria: WANEP to Implement Peace Projects in Six States to Check Rising Conflicts

The West Africa Network for Peace building (WANEP)-Nigeria, has expressed concerns over the escalation of violent conflicts across the country, which has resulted in wanton destruction of lives and properties. The National Coordinator, WANEP-Nigeria, Bridget Osakwe, in statement said the Boko Haram insurgency, farmers-herders clashes, militancy, secessionist movements, land disputes, power tussle, banditry and kidnappings are on the increase.
