Liberia: Charcoal Burners to Plant Trees for Sustainability

As part of efforts in sustainably managing the forest, members of the Suehn/Mecca District Charcoal Producers Association in Suehn/Mecca District, Bomi County have taken the lead in the Liberia’s charcoal industry to begin planting trees. Suehn/Mecca District Charcoal Producers Association is one of the 17 charcoal producer and seller networks under the National Charcoal Union of Liberia (NACUL).
