Colombia: Colombian President Petro & Cattle Rancher’s Federation Agree on Land Reform Framework

José Felix Lafaurie, head of the Colombian Federation of Cattle Ranchers (Fedegan), and President Gustavo Petro met at the Casa de Nariño, the nation’s presidential palace, at the beginning of October where they agreed to a 3 million hectare compensated land transfer to advance agricultural reform and carry out a primary provision of the 2016 Peace Agreement signed with the FARC.
