Here’s where you come in:

As Food Assistance Cash for Assets/Food for Assets (CFA/FFA) Specialist you will provide leadership and technical support in project design, implementation, and management Cash/Food for Assets(C/FFA) projects under the Food Assistance Programme at zonal level.

You will provide the coordination and supervision of the Food Assistance Program with all modalities General Food Distribution(GFD)/Blanket Supplementary Feeding Project (BSFP)/Food for Education(FFE)/Food for Assets/Cash for Assets(CFA) within Greater Bahr Ghazal Zone.

Requirements include:

  • University degree or qualification in Agri business, Food Security, Rural Development, Social Science, other related field.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in Emergency programmes or Social Development with at least 2 years of that experience in Cash and CFA programming.
  • Experience in working with clusters and working groups/community of practice an added advantage.
  • Understanding of basic Economics i.e. elasticity of demand and supply and substitution effects.
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Knowledge of Arabic communication skills an added advantage.
  • Ability to travel in country to all states and across the border for training, assessment, regular monitoring and evaluation a must.
