Position summary
Under the supervision of the WASH Head of project, the Emergency WASH Supervisor will be responsible for supervising, monitoring, and reporting emergency response activities implemented in the South, providing support for the filed teams in terms of coordination and planning, coordinating with stakeholders, local authorities and other NGOs to avoid any overlap into activities, and ensuring consistency of data collection. S/he will be responsible to ensuring quality of the programme, promoting protection mainstreaming, community engagement and participation of affected communities. The position may require some fieldwork and movement between areas of intervention.

- Follow up day to day implementation of Multisectoral Emergency Response activities
- Team Management
- Data Collection and Reporting
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in public health studies or WASH related engineering with deep knowledge about water and sanitation ,with WASH, emergency, or basic assistance experience. Emergency and conflict/post-conflict contexts.
- Excellent knowledge of WASH, shelter, or basic assistance emergency responses
- Experience in distributions, needs assessments, hygiene promotion, working with local communities, children, and vulnerable people, experience in protection mainstreaming, community mobilization and participation.
- Minimum 2 years with INGOs/NGOs specialized in Humanitarian assistance.
- At least one year of experience in WASH/ Emergency projects.
