The Role
Since 2014, the Women’s Economic Empowerment Knowledge Hub has promoted knowledge and skills-sharing across 70 countries where the staff of Oxfam International collaborate with NGOs, women’s rights and workers’ organisations, markets development, employers and producer groups, to increase positive impact for women.
The Hub profiles the achievements of 800+ members of the community of practice, recently in the global WEE Learning Forum and the SBCC conferences. The Hub coordinates processes to learn about ‘what works’ and doesn’t, for example, about women agricultural producers, young women entrepreneurs, savings programmes, social norms change, and transforming unpaid care.
As a WEE - knowledge hub coordinator you will coordinate, operationalise and further develop the Women’s Economic Empowerment Knowledge Hub and to communicate effectively on WEE, so as to strengthen the Oxfam Confederation’s capacity and knowledge to drive forward women’s economic empowerment.
What we are looking for
As a WEE - knowledge hub coordinator, you will be passionate about women’s economic empowerment, experienced at curating knowledge and mobilizing diverse stakeholders, and skilled in facilitating, writing, and communicating.
You will have strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels within Oxfam and with external stakeholders.
