Bangladesh: Thousands March against Land-Grabbing in Bangladesh

Thousands of indigenous people took part in a two-day march in northern Bangladesh to press the government to establish an independent commission to end the problem of land disputes, which often impact minority communities. The 60-kilometer march from Chapai Nawabganj to Rajshahi city Nov. 15-16 brought together about 3,000 people from dozens of indigenous groups.
