EAST Africa is poised to lead the rest of Africa in developing infrastructure for the nascent oil and gas industry, a new report by audit and consultancy group Ernst & Young indicates.

The 'Oil & Gas: driving sustainable growth' report projects a strong growth in associated midstream and downstream infrastructure to accompany sustained growth in the upstream segment in Africa.
