The remarkable rebound in Colombia's coffee production will see a, small, reversal next season, undermined by potential weather setbacks, and the knock-on effects of a labour "shortage". This season, Colombian coffee output will hit 13.6m bags, the highest in 23 years, as farmers reap the rewards of a replanting programme with varieties resistant to the debilitating rust fungus, the US Department of Agriculture bureau in Bogota said.
