Rwanda: Rwandan Tin Smelting Firm Certified as Conflict Free

A Rwandan tin smelting plant, LuNa Smelter, has been certified as a conflict free smelter by the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP). The qualification is part of a programme, Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), which has been conducting assessment to validate smelters’ company-level management processes for responsible mineral procurement.
