Liberia: UNIDO Donates Hydro-Electrical Equipment

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on Tuesday donated hydro-electrical equipment to the Stella Maris Polytechnic for the establishment of "Small-hydro Power Technology Center" on its Capitol Hill campus.

UNIDO Chief Technical Advisor Jovita Culaton Viray said the organization was driven by the motivation of the institution as it shares a common interest with UNIDO in promoting renewable energy, energy efficiency technologies and sustainable development in Liberia, especially in small hydro projects.
