Afghanistan: UNICEF Urges Action for Clean Water in Afghanistan’s Remote Areas

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Afghanistan has reiterated the urgent need to improve access to clean drinking water for residents in remote areas. UNICEF announced the construction of eight water supply systems in rural villages of Ghor province.
