Kenya: IWPG, NCIC Partner to Strengthen Women-Led Peacebuilding and Community Cohesion

Peace is often built through everyday conversations, and a new initiative is placing Kenyan women at the heart of that effort.The International Women's Peace Group (IWPG) has concluded a series of peacebuilding activities in Nairobi aimed at promoting women's leadership in conflict resolution and strengthening community cohesion across Kenya.The initiative culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IWPG and the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) on July 2.The agreement seeks to deepen collaboration in peace education, dialogue and grassroots community engagement.
