Iraq/Kurdistan: Kurdistan to Introduce Advanced Irrigation System to Boost Wheat Crop

The Kurdish ministry of agriculture has signed a deal with the UAE-based Aljanani firm to purchase advanced irrigation equipment that are planned to help Kurdish agriculture increase its production. Authorities say the new irrigation system will reduce the waste of water by nearly 80 percent while at the same time considerably increase the arable land.
