Syria: ISIS Oil Minister Killed in Eastern Syria

The Islamic State oil minister was killed in eastern Syria this week after the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) carried out a joint operation with the U.S.-led Coalition. According to a statement from the SDF, their troops managed to kill Thabit Sobhi Fahd Al-Ahmad while conducting an operation inside the Deir Ezzor Governorate.
