UAE: UAE Launches Drive to Empower Female Afghan Farmers

The UAE is launching an innovative drive to help empower Afghan female farmers. It will facilitate the sale of organic produce grown by the women, such as fruit, nuts and saffron. Not only will the project bring these products to the market, it will also provide the farmers with a vital source of income. The project is called Mira and is part of the Fatima bint Mohamed bin Zayed Initiative (FBMI).
