Iraq/Kurdistan: Document Obtained by NRT Reveals KRG Corruption over Oil Sector

NRT is revealing a secret document, which was obtained from a foreign source, for the first time. The document includes new and secret information as well as data on the production of oil in the Kurdistan Region. The document, which contains the names of the oil fields, the amount of production and the capacity for oil production in the oil fields in the region, was prepared by a foreign company that works as a supervisor for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Ministry of Natural Resources. It is written in the document that the company has obtained the information from the KRG and oil companies operating in the region’s fields.
