Liberia: LPRC Boss to Be Prosecuted

Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) says it has investigated and concluded several cases of corruption and has according to law, forwarded them (cases) with appropriate recommendations for prosecution to the Ministry of Justice.

Speaking at a news conference in Monrovia recently, the Chairman of the Commission, Cllr. James Verdier, disclosed that one of the cases forwarded to the Ministry of Justice is the allegation of corruption with the Japanese Oil Grant of 2011 between the Governments of Japan and Liberia.
