Iraq: Baiji Refinery Still Under Siege

Elite Iraqi soldiers at Iraq's largest oil refinery are still fending off regular attacks by militants led by the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), more than a month after it first came under attack.Although the militants have not taken the refinery, they do control the surrounding area – including the roads and pipelines leading to and from the facility – effectively rendering it entirely unusable.
