Myanmar: Myanmar Mineral Exports Worth $230 Million This Financial Year

Mineral exports from Myanmar include gems, jewelry gold, jade, pearl, diamond, tungsten, tin, silver, copper, zinc, coal and other minerals and metals. Due to the protests and unrest since the junta took power in the February 2021 coup the country is close to economic collapse and unlikely to hit such ambitious targets and the junta will be forced to sell more natural resources to neighbouring countries like Thailand and China to survive economically.
