Abuja (Nigeria) / Monrovia (Liberia) — On the opening day of a 6-8 May conference in Abuja aimed at attracting private sector agricultural investment in Africa [1], Friends of the Earth International and the Sustainable Development Institute / Friends of the Earth Liberia are warning governments and investors that any investment must respect communities' rights and ownership of land.
