After years of abuse, Liberia’s forest is gradually becoming a window of opportunities by diverting from the age old method of commercial logging to sustainable conservation and community forestry. Since 2006, the forestry sector has experienced several reforms ranging from the 2006 National Forest Reform Policy and Strategy, National Forest Reform Act, the Community Rights with Respect to Forest Land Law and REDD+ Arrangement.
