In the wake of recommendations from western countries to pay poor countries including Liberia for its forest reserve, Senate Pro-Tempore Armah Jallah is recommending a review of Polices in the forestry sector which he believes are undermining performance of that sector. Pro-Tempore Jallah, who is believe to be a major investor in the logging sector prior to his election to the National legislature, in a statement Monday said in the past the forest sector helped the country to construct and improve roads in rural communities and provided employment opportunities for rural dwellers.
