The United Nations has said that the incessant clash between herdsmen and farmers across Nigeria poses a grave security to West Africa. Mohammed Ibn Chambas, the special representative for West Africa and the Sahel to the UN secretary general Antonio Guterres, said there had been an increase in clashes region. He said a resource conflict was being aggravated by the growing population in the region.
