Myanmar seized more than 35,000 tons of illegal timber in nine months of fiscal year 2017-18, according to the Forest Department. The seized illegal timber included 7,406.70 tons of teak, 10,517.77 tons of hardwood and 17,921.40 tons of other types, official figures showed.
