Afghanistan: Land-Grabbing Still in Practice in Logar

Tens of thousands of acres of land has been usurped by powerful individuals and ordinary people in central Logar province, a practice still ongoing, officials said on Monday. A member of the provincial council, Mohammad Nasir Ghairat, told a press conference here that thousands acres of land had been grabbed by powerful individuals and ordinary people in the capital, Pul-i-Alam, Mohammad Agha and Khoshi districts.
