Global: Global Conflicts Cause concern in Markets, Commodities

Headlines across the world have been filled with news of violence and intensifying conflicts in the Gaza strip, the Ukraine and Russia, and Iraq.

The largely independent events have been driven by long-standing historic antagonism among neighboring groups of people. And although tensions are rising overseas, globalization and increased dependence on global trade have left the entire world — including Northwest Indiana — vulnerable to repercussions from conflict.
