Afghanistan: Taliban Bans Drug Cultivation, Including Lucrative Opium

The Taliban announced on Sunday a ban on the cultivation of narcotics in Afghanistan, the world's biggest opium producer. The order said the production, use or transportation of other narcotics was also banned.
