Sierra Leone: S/Leonean Leader Orders Halt to Land Grabbing around University Campus

Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma has ordered authorities at the University of Sierra Leone to immediately address the protracted issue of land grabbing around the country’s oldest college. For months now, a debate has been raging on how to handle local communities around the iconic Forah Bay College, who are accused of encroaching on the college`s land. However, members of the community say staff of the college were themselves to blame as they have taken vast swath of the land for personal use.
