Cambodia: Man Charged with Land Grabbing

A 55-year-old farmer in Pursat province was charged yesterday with allegedly clearing community forest for his own use and encouraging others to do the same. Pursat Provincial Court spokesperson Heng Donin said Chea Sarou had been charged on Wednesday with seizing forest in Phnum Kravanh district’s Sam Rong commune and inciting others to do the same.
