Afghanistan: Above 18,000 Acres of Land Saved from Grabbing: MoJ

Government land measuring at least 18,000 acres across the country has been prevented from being usurped during the past three years, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) said on Saturday. Justice Minister Abdul Basir Anwar, addressing a conference ‘Ministry of Justice Performance in Unity Government’s 3-year Term,’ said his ministry was committed to seriously combating corruption and land usurpation. He said the MoJ would continue its efforts until all government land was reclaimed from illegal encroachers.
