Colombia: About 40% of Colombia’s Land is Degraded

According to the Colombian Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development 40% of the country’s land suffers some king of degradation. The factors affecting the land include the occupation of protected areas, cattle ranching, agriculture, mining, housing and tourism among others.
