Myanmar: Only 10pc of Land Seizure Complaints Settled

Only 10 percent of complaints over seized farmland submitted to the central committee for re-scrutinising land complaints have been settled since its formation in May 2016. As of November 17, the committee had settled 543 complaints out of 5735; the remaining 5192 cases are still under investigation, the committee announced on December 5.
