Myanmar: YCDC Moves to Avoid Hot-Season Water Shortages

Yangon City Development Committee Water and Sanitation Department said it had taken measures to avoid water shortages during the hot season as a result of EI Niño. The YCDC said it would publicise its measures soon. Yangon’s lakes fell by six inches a day during the last hot season and higher temperatures are expected this year.
