A scandal involving a purported attempt to defraud the Liberian government is sending shivers in the corridors of the national legislature, linking the office of the Speaker of the House of Representative and the National Oil Company of Liberia to thousands of dollars in over-invoicing legal fees to three attorneys assisting with the draft of the new petroleum law.
