Nigeria: Awka Youths, Elders Square Up Against Anambra Government Over Land Grabbing

Youths and elders of Ezinano community in Awka, Anambra State have drawn a battle line with state government over what they termed “unlawful acquisition of their land”.

The villagers, numbering over 500, made the threat in Awka on Tuesday when they staged a peaceful protest to demand the release of their 1,600 plots of land located behind the NNPC Mega station, Awka.
