The ecological safety of Azerbaijan has entered into the regional agenda of the European Union. Informed sources say that the European Commission is preparing an international conference on environmental security of Azerbaijan. "The conference can take place in Baku this autumn. Currently, the Ministry of Environment & Natural Resources is expected to confirm the consent and readiness for the conference," the source said.
