Sudan: Report Highlights Rampant Corruption in Sudan’s Oil Sector

There is rampant corruption in the Sudanese oil sector including the institutionalized lack of accountability and transparency, a Sudanese human rights group; Sudan Democracy First Group (SDFG) disclosed here Sunday. SDFG published a report last Thursday about the lack of transparency in the country’s oil sector which raised suspicions and allegations of corruption that encompass all upstream and downstream operations of the oil industry
