Myanmar: Cyclone Roanu Fails to Fill Inle Lake

Although rain fell around Inle Lake in southern Shan State in the last week of May due to the effects from Cyclone Roanu, the lake is still dry, said locals on May 28. Rain came down three or four times at Inle Lake after May 23, but the water level in the lake is still low. It is still below the original water level of Moebyae Dam, according to staff from the dam.
