Farmers in  Pyin Oo Lwin Township, Mandalay Region, asked government about the prosecution of farmers who staged a ploughing protest on their seized farmland. Pyin Oo Lwin is the one of the townships where there have been many land seizure problems. Farmers are now holding ploughing protests with the aim to reclaim their seized farmland. However, police are now trying to detain protesters under various allegations.
