South Sudan: South Sudan Gives China 10,000 Barrels of Crude per Day for Roads Construction

The Government of South Sudan has approved allocation of 10,000 barrels of crude oil per day to China Exim Bank for the construction of roads. The Deputy Minister of Information, Lily Albino Akol, told Journalists last Friday after the weekly Council of Ministers Meeting in Juba that the cabinet has approved the plan presented to the cabinet by the Minister of Petroleum, Ezekiel Lol Gatkouth. The plan is expected to be finalized with the signing of agreement late this month between the Bank and Government of South Sudan.
