Oil Export Resumption from Iraq's Kirkuk Field Comes at the Worst Possible Time

The Iraqi Oil Ministry in Baghdad today announced that a preliminary agreement had been reached with the Kurdistan Regional Government. This preliminary agreement will ensure that 50-100 Thousand Barrels Per Day (KBD) will move from the Kirkuk oil fields to the Turkish port of Ceyhan. However, this deal comes at the worst possible time.
