Mar 7, 2023 | Environmental Peacebuilding Association

"Environment and Security" is the leading global outlet for peer-reviewed research and debates on issues at the intersection of environmental and security. The Environmental Peacebuilding Association and SAGE – which jointly produce the journal – have some exciting developments to share.

In February, the partners launched a new website was launched for the journal: https://journals.sagepub.com/home/eas. The new site includes information on the journal (including for those interested in submitting articles), the current issue, and (in due course) past issues.

The site includes two articles from the first issue:

-       Ashok Swain, Carl Bruch, Tobias Ide, Päivi Lujala, Richard Matthew, and Erika Weinthal, “Environment and security in the 21st century” (https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/27538796221149609) (the opening editorial; free access)

-       Tobias Ide, “Sampling bias in environmental peacebuilding research” (https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/27538796221143850) (the first published research article; open access)

Articles from both researchers and practitioners are accepted on a rolling basis. More details are available at: https://journals.sagepub.com/author-instructions/EAS
