The Environmental Peacebuilding Association is excited to announce the launch of the Community of Practice on Gender, Natural Resources, Climate, and Peace. On March 21, the Community received the first issue of a new monthly newsletter about these interconnected issues. This Community of Practice and newsletter together serve as an information hub for practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and other actors to share resources on programming and research at the intersection of gender, natural resources, climate change, and peace. The Community and newsletter are co-produced by the Joint Programme on Women, Natural Resources, and Peace, a partnership between UN Environment, UN Women, the UN Development Programme, and the UN Peacebuilding Support Office. The Community of Practice is maintained and the newsletter is distributed by the Environmental Peacebuilding Association. To join the Community of Practice, please fill out this Contact form

In conjunction with the Community of Practice and newsletter, the Association also recently launched a Knowledge Platform on Gender, Natural Resources, Climate, and Peace, available at https://gender-nr-peace.org/. The Knowledge Platform is continually updated with the latest developments in the field, including new publications, upcoming conferences, calls for papers, job openings, blogs and commentary, and international news related to gender, natural resources, climate, and conflict.
