New Proration Policy for Environmental Peacebuilding Association Membership

The Board of Directors for the Environmental Peacebuilding Association has updated its membership fee policy. Since the membership renewal schedule is based on a calendar year, the Association’s membership fees will now be prorated based on when a member joins in a given year. The new policy applies to both individual and institutional membership for the 1-year and 3-year options.

The new proration schedule can be found here. This proration applies both to individual and institutional memberships.

For 3-year membership purchased in 2018, the 3-year membership registrations will extend through December 2021 (with renewals being required in January 2022). In effect, Founding Members who buy a 3-year membership will receive extra months free of charge.

For existing members: To ensure that members who joined early and have helped establish the Association are treated equally to new members, members who have paid a 1-year membership already will receive a credit toward their renewal in 2019. Moreover, members who have purchased 3-year membership registrations will have those memberships cover 3+ years (through December 2021, with renewals being required in January 2022).
