The Environmental Peacebuilding Association (EnPAx) is seeking applicants for its Conference Fellows Program. The Conference Fellows Program provides capacity development for emerging professionals alongside financial support enabling their attendance at the Fourth International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding, empowering students, early career researchers, and entry-level practitioners to contribute to this growing field.The Conference Fellows Program is part of an ongoing commitment by EnPAx and its partners to ensure equitable access for under-represented and under-resourced communities to environmental peacebuilding programming, project development, and knowledge sharing mechanisms. The program will invest in community building and professional development for young scholars and practitioners through:
- the facilitation of an online series of roundtables and workshops focused on key issues and case studies in environmental peacebuilding and related sectors;
- the delivery of an in-person intensive training focused on project management skills for environmental peacebuilding policy and practice; and
- the publication of a series of short, policy-relevant articles researched and authored by the Fellows with mentored support from established experts.
The 2026 Conference Fellows Program will culminate at the Fourth International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding (Ottawa, Canada), convened by the Environmental Peacebuilding Association and the University of Ottawa, where the 2026 EnPAx Conference Fellows will be featured in the conference program, provided special networking opportunities, and given support to engage in relevant side events.
