This case study profiles the work of Integrity Action partner organisation Commission Diocésaine de Justice et Paix (CDJP) and the quest of Father David Lukaha, CDJP’s Coordinator, to promote integrity in the extractives sector in eastern DRC - and ultimately to realise better outcomes for his community. Father Luhaka engages the range of actors in the sector to demonstrate the importance of perseverance, and demonstrates the need for cooperation among civil society organisations, the role of local champions, and the necessity of collaborative engagement and dialogue.
